Ecological and Economic Responsibility

We understand this as protecting the environment and its resources. Over 10 years ago, we built the largest photovoltaic system in our region at the time (about the size of a soccer field) with an annual capacity of 300,000 kWh—enough to supply around 85 households, which is significantly more than our own company’s energy consumption.

Given the emissions associated with steel processing from iron ore, we recognized early on the need to counterbalance these unavoidable emissions. Our photovoltaic system is one measure to reduce our overall environmental impact. Additionally, we launched the GreenLine Series 10 years ago, featuring products with optimized production processes that have saved over 7,000 tons of CO2—equivalent to the yearly energy needs of 1,000 citizens—while maintaining similar structural performance.

This is not only ecologically sensible but also economically beneficial for all involved, reducing costs including transport expenses not even accounted for here.

The CE marking on GH timber connectors is your guarantee for safe and certified products that comply with building regulations throughout Europe, providing additional legal certainty. All our modern production facilities are located in Germany and certified according to ISO 9001:2008, allowing us to manufacture flexibly and to high standards.

Almost our entire range of GH timber connectors comes with national and international approvals, making them applicable throughout the EU.
