After relocating our company in 2006 from Bad Oeynhausen to Weilheim Teck, we took a major step forward in 2011 towards the future. With the construction of an additional production and storage hall in Weilheim/Teck and the merger of two strong partners, GH Baubeschläge & EuP (Eisen- und Plastverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG), we initiated another step to secure Germany as a production location. In 2018, the complete takeover of Eisen- und Plastverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG by GH Baubeschläge GmbH took place, maintaining both the Werdohl production site and GH headquarters in Weilheim as manufacturing locations. We offer our customers high flexibility, security, and availability. An extremely important factor for us is that we understand the needs of the specialist trade as well as the processors, such as carpenters, and that we are always able to flexibly adapt to these needs, which ultimately is the recipe for success for every innovative and accepted product. In 2012 we initiated a new era with a new product line in addition to our successful and innovative "TOP Line" series. We will increasingly focus on the ecological aspect in the future with the "GreenLine" series, aiming for resource-saving production while maintaining unchanged structural values. We achieve this through new production processes and special materials.
We successfully started down this path years ago as the first manufacturer of timber connectors with the 1.5 mm joist hanger and the 1.5 mm tension strap. These products have since become firmly established in the timber connector market and have inspired many imitators.
In our production facilities in Weilheim/Teck and Werdohl, we produce and distribute over 4,000 products for modern timber construction. With this catalog and the upcoming structural engineering handbook, we will further underline our innovative strength and expertise, providing planners and structural engineers with even more targeted information. An equally important aspect in the development of new products is the close relationship with end customers, such as carpenters, who continually provide us with the right impulses for future-oriented products. Also in 2011, 2012, 2015, and 2017, we patented additional products that were developed in collaboration with carpentry companies.
In 2012 and 2018, we received the Industry Award (Best OF) for our innovative developments.
In 2016 we achieved first place in the award "Partner of the Specialist Trade", which we confirmed again in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023.
We still firmly believe that securing our production site in Germany protects quality, delivery capability, and innovative strength.
